Emily Longardner
Sr. Information Security Analyst
Emily is a Senior Information Security Analyst with the cyberTAP Professional Services team. In this role, she provides security assessments for healthcare organizations, K-12 Schools, and local government entities throughout Indiana. Emily enjoys using her creative and analytical skills to help clients develop security strategies that are attainable, impactful, and tailored to the unique needs of their organization.
Emily has an extensive background in healthcare informatics, working in the industry for 13 years before joining Purdue in early 2023. Most recently, Emily served as the Director of IT and HIPAA Security Officer for a community health system.
Emily holds an M.S. in IT Management, a B.S. in Network Security, and multiple Cisco and CompTIA certifications. She is currently pursuing the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
Emily considers herself a collector of hobbies and loves to learn new skills. When she’s not at a computer, Emily spends her time reading comics, painting, or engaging in a variety of crafting and DIY projects.
