Doug Welks GSEC, RHIT, CHP
Sr. Information Security Analyst
Doug serves as Senior Information Security Analyst at cyberTAP. In this role, he conducts Security Risk Assessments of technology, process, and policy using auditing/assessment best practices for clients statewide as part of the range of IT security services offered by cyberTAP.
Doug joined Purdue in 2010. Prior to that, he worked in corporate sales for sixteen years and corporate purchasing for six. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Western Michigan University and a degree in Health Information Management from Vincennes University.
Doug’s outside interests include breeding and showing English Bulldogs, advanced photography, Harley-Davidsons, collector of cars and home remodeling. Doug’s Bulldogs have won awards at all show levels including Champion (2006) as well as a First Award of Merit at the 131st Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in 2007.
