Brian Zuel Ph.D., Security+, CEH, CEI, CISSP

Lead Technical Instructor


Dr. Brian Zuel is the lead technical instructor responsible for designing and delivering cyberTAP's online cybersecurity curriculum.

Before coming to cyberTAP, Brian worked in various IT roles for the last twenty years. During his career, he has earned several advanced cybersecurity certificates, such as Security+, CEH, CEI, and CISSP. Along with his expertise in cyber, Brian is also passionate about education and teaching, which has led him to teach classes from K12 to graduate courses.

Brian has a bachelor of science from Indiana State University in Information Technology. He also holds Masters and Doctoral degrees from Indiana State University in Educational Technology. In addition, Brian has a graduate certificate in Information Security from Purdue Global, and Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from Indiana State University.

When not teaching the next pack of cybersecurity experts, Brian can be found playing a round of golf at the Ackerman-Allen golf course at Purdue University.
